Info Update

Hi Red Sox Families!

I'm going to do my best and update you on details regarding practice tonight, pictures & game on Saturday, and a Quakes game!

Practice 4/1 (not an April Fool's joke) - It all depends on the weather!  We (John or I) will notify you later today once the powers that be have determined if the fields are dry enough or not.  If we have practice I will pass out uniforms at that time, but if we don't have official practice here's the plan ... let's meet at Chick-fil-a (Day Creek & Baseline).  I will be at Chick-fil-a from 5 to 6:30 tonight with uniforms.  Come join the team for dinner and we can let the kids play and get to know each other better or just stop by and pick up your uniform, whatever fits your schedule :)  So practice at Banyan OR Chick-fil-a team bonding tonight!

Uniform - Your child will receive a jersey/shirt, hat and socks.  If you have not done so already, please purchase white baseball pants and cleats to complete your child's uniform.  Some have asked about a belt ... they are completely optional (my son wants one and there are belt loops on his pants so I'm getting one)

Pictures - Picture day is Saturday prior to our game.  Please arrive at 11:30 to Hillside for pictures. We will take our pictures at 11:45 and then our game is at 12:45.  Parking will be difficult as all teams will be taking pictures and there will be 3 games going simultaneously!  The snack bar will be open and rumor has it they will be expanding their menu :)  I will give you a picture packet with your uniform tonight.  Package #4 is included with your registration fee, but you are welcome to purchase more picture if you want!

Quakes Game - Saturday April 26th will be Upward Bound Sports night at the Quakes game.  There will be a pre-game parade on the field for the players and then we will be able to sit together and enjoy the game (and Tremor and Crazy J who both go to Hillside). Oh and there will be fireworks after the game too!  Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on Saturday at the field!
